I have to admit, when Sarah first called me and asked me to shoot her wedding my first thought was “What??!! You’re not getting married!  You’re joking!”  I should probably backtrack a little.  I’ve known Sarah since college.  She dated one of my roommates and hung out in our room all the time.  My roommate ended up marrying another Sarah and introduced Sarah to her future husband.

Shooting weddings like this is always fun.  Knowing the bride or groom (in this case both) makes it much more fun to shoot.  Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy shooting all weddings and enjoy getting to know my clients.  But knowing both Sarah and John made this one more fun than most.

Sarah looked gorgeous and despite the rain forcing us inside for the ceremony, it was a great day.  I was thankful that Sarah and John asked me to join them on their special day, but to be able to photograph it and document it for them was truly an honor.  Congratulations to you both!
